Who we are
Sunset Systems is operated by ClubOk Inc., Los Angeles, California. This policy covers the Sunset Systems website and its SunsetWatch pages and request forms. For questions about this policy or your personal information, contact hello@sunsetsys.com.
What this website collects
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools. We serve the site’s text, images, fonts and scripts from our own domain.
Our hosting provider, Railway, records technical request data, including IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, timestamps and response status codes. We use this information to operate the website, troubleshoot failures and investigate abuse. Log retention and availability depend on the hosting provider’s service plan and retention settings. These technical logs are separate from SunsetWatch request records.
We do not track visitors over time or across other websites, or allow third-party tracking on this site. Our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
SunsetWatch website and email submissions
When you submit the free-check form, your website address and email address are sent to our checking service at check.sunsetsys.com. We use the website address to run the public website check and your email address to send its result. Submitting a request does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
The checking service records the website’s hostname, your email address, the request time and the check result. It uses keyed hashes derived from IP addresses to limit abuse. Separate hosting logs may contain technical request data, including IP addresses.
Request storage and retention
Requests (website and email) and check results are kept until we delete them or you ask us to. Earlier review requests collected through the website’s former two-step form are retained until manual deletion or a deletion request; they do not expire automatically.
The free check reads publicly accessible website information. It does not authorize access to private systems. Any assessment requiring private access is arranged separately.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you send. We use this information to respond and continue the conversation. We keep it for as long as needed for that conversation or any working relationship that follows.
Who handles data for us
Railway hosts the public website, its earlier request database and server logs. The checking service and its email delivery provider process free-check requests and send report messages on our behalf. Google Workspace provides our business email service, and GoDaddy manages our domain. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising or profiling. We share personal information only with providers who help us deliver the work you request, when required by law, to protect our rights or the security of this site, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@sunsetsys.com.
If you are in the EU or the UK: we process this data in the United States; we keep server logs in our legitimate interest in running and securing this site, and your emails to answer and act on what you ask. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this page changes, we will update it and the date at the top.
